Browsing the site
The site is used without an account or third-party tracking cookies. Audience measurement is aggregated and anonymous, performed server-side (Cloudflare Analytics Engine): no profiling, no identifying data collected on mere browsing. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring traffic.
Purchasing a Report
When purchasing the Area Report, we process your e-mail address (for delivery) and payment data, the latter handled directly by Stripe (we have no access to it). Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: the order e-mail and invoice are kept in accordance with statutory accounting obligations (10 years for supporting documents).
Getting connected ("contact me")
When you fill in a contact form (on an analysis page or the Partners page), we process the details you provide — name, e-mail, phone (optional) and message — together with your request context (town and sector viewed). Purpose: to connect you with a qualified partner suited to your project (accountant, chamber of commerce, broker, transmission/sale network). Legal basis: your explicit consent (checkbox), withdrawable at any time. Recipients: the qualified partner handling your request — your details are never resold for advertising. Retention: as long as needed to handle your request, and at most 3 years after the last contact, then deletion. You may withdraw consent or request erasure at any time: contact@platypusforge.com.
Processors and location
Hosting and audience measurement: Cloudflare, Inc. (EU points of presence). Application backend: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Marseille region (EU). Payment: Stripe. No personal data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Only cookies strictly necessary for operation (e.g. the payment flow) may be used.

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability over your data: contact@platypusforge.com. You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
